Webcam Data Grabber – Privacy Policy

Data collection

Webcam Data Grabber does not collect, store or transmit any personal user data.

The extension only reads the content of the active tab when you click the extension icon, in order to extract the webcam name, the page URL and the thumbnail or snapshot image from supported webcam providers.

How the data is used

The extracted values (webcam name, page URL and thumbnail URL or data) are displayed inside the extension popup and can be copied to your clipboard when you click the copy button.

These values are used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension and are never used for advertising, tracking or profiling.

Storage and transmission

The extension does not send any data to external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.

The extension does not create any persistent storage of your data beyond what is temporarily needed in memory to generate the line that you can copy to the clipboard.

Third parties

The extension does not sell or transfer user data to third parties.

The extension only interacts with the websites you visit to read the page structure and extract the webcam information you requested.

Changes to this policy

If this extension ever starts collecting or processing additional data, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and the Chrome Web Store listing will be updated to reflect those changes.
